MIGRATION OF A MAINFRAME APPLICATION USED TO MANAGE COMPUTING DEVICES TO A NEW DECENTRALIZED ARCHITECTURE
•Documents various business processes using the mainframe system along with over 50 different groups, and analyzes their strengths and weaknesses in order to propose optimized business processes.
•Defines the architecture of a 15-applications ecosystem, the information architecture and functional specifications of some custom-made web applications, documents information exchanges between systems, and supports the development and quality assurance teams for the implementation of these applications.
•Documents the data structure and business rules supported by the mainframe system in collaboration with subject-matter experts, and defines a new data structure supporting optimized business processes.
•Defines the change management strategy (communication, training, resistance management) in order to facilitate the transition to new processes and systems.
•Product manager for a transactional intranet incorporating many web applications, used to manage the provisioning of internal network accesses for employees. In collaboration with the client team and using Agile methodologies, defines evolution plans for the platform, prioritizes, analyzes and coordinates the implementation of new functionalities with the development team, and is in charge of support and training activities for Ontario and Québec user communities.
•As a part of an inventory and billing information systems mapping project, documents about thirty systems and data exchanges between them, using data flow diagrams.
